Welcome to ECLOF Philippines

ECLOF Philippines Microfinance, Inc. is a Christian-based, SEC-registered, and non-government organization that envisions a society where human dignity is fully realized, people are empowered, and poverty is overcome. We pursue these by providing fair credit, sustainable agriculture support, business development services, and capacity-building programs.

Through our work, we aim to uplift underserved communities, particularly smallholder farmers and micro-entrepreneurs., by helping them build sustainable livelihoods. Guided by our core values and mission, we are committed to make a lasting impact through inclusive and empowering development.

ECLOF Philippines operates in 25 unit offices across North Luzon, South Luzon, North Palawan , and South Palawan.

As we reflect on the journey we’ve taken together, it is clear that our shared efforts have been rooted in more than just progress—they have been about purpose. Every initiative taken, every challenge surmounted, and every milestone reached has contributed to something far greater than the sum of its parts.

The year 2024 has been a time of change towards greater significance as we continue to explore new ways to create lasting significance and impact in the lives of both our staff and clients. In a rapidly evolving environment, driven by technological advancements and environmental challenges, EPMI has remained steadfast in its commitment to serving our clients

Message from the Executive Director

The year 2024 has been a time of change towards greater significance and impact—one marked by growth, resilience, and shared commitment. Together, we have embraced change, rising to the challenges of new leadership, evolving standards of performance, and the integration of new team members. Through it all, we remained focused on delivering what was expected of us and more. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Board for their guidance during the leadership transition at the Head Office. We especially thank Sir Larry (Lauro C. Millan), who served as Officer-in-Charge and Acting Executive Director during the first half of the year. His leadership was instrumental in initiating many of the key changes we now continue to build upon.

We started 2024 with purpose and unity during our organizational teambuilding. Rhicoromel Ricel Bihasa

joined ECLOF Ph in August 2015. He started his business by selling wet and dry goods. His first loan with the organization was ₱100,000 and he used it to buy inventories such as vegetables and coconuts. Eventually, he saw a high demand of selling Buko and shifted from selling wet and dry goods to selling Buko.

Romulo Vargas

joined ECLOF Ph in June 2016 with the approved loan amount of ₱10,000. He started his scrap/junk business in 2004. Back then, he also sold construction materials online as alternative source of income. Then unexpectedly, the demand for construction supplies increased, so he decided to set-up a hardware shop in 2016 at Brgy Dalig Antipolo, City using some of his savings and loans from ECLOF Ph.

Lalaine Cario

is a woman with many hats. She is a farmer, a nurse at the Barangay Health Center, a wife, and a mother of six. Starting her own family at an early age, Lalaine was accustomed to working hard to provide for the family.

Zaldy Jumagbas

At the age of 25 with experiences ahead of his age, he started his own family. Zaldy has a lot of dreams, including being a reliable provider to his family. He became a staff in one of the resorts in El Nido, from purchasing to kitchen staff and even housekeeping, he has done it all while also saving up to start his own business, his very own dream.

Rachel Oppus

who joined EPMI in 2018 to support her chocolate business. In a span of 4 years, she was able to expand it and opened new stores in 2 locations – Antipolo and Taytay, Rizal. With his husband in his aide, they were able to open a restaurant named “Filmayman Restowrante”, a Mexican-Filipino-American restaurant located in Cainta, Rizal.

Ma. Kristine Belga

With the continuous support of ECLOF, Kristine along with his partner Robert, was able to withstand the heavy blow of the pandemic as a food and service provider. RK’s Catering & Events re-operated last year and just last November 27, they expanded their business by opening another restaurant named “Taste Avenue”.
